We love our girls and boys so much! Our goat milk products wouldn’t be possible without them. When our does are in milk, we milk them twice a day everyday. It’s a lot of work but we enjoy the time to bond with them. We raise Nigerian Dwarf and Alpine goats. They are both dairy breeds.

Our Great Pyrenees are gentle giants. Great Pyrenees are an ancient breed of dog that are naturally nocturnal. During the day you will see them lounging around and sleeping with our chickens and goats. By night they are fantastic protectors keeping our animals safe. Agnus is our lead Great Pyr who doesn’t disappoint on keeping unwanted predators away. Edy is her daughter who is just starting to get out of the puppy stage and becoming part of the herd.
We also have Sassy our senior Golden Retrieve, who is our official greeter to anyone who happens to visit. Her job is to lay still while you rub her belly. ( She told me to say that 😊
From time to time we have puppies available. we plan to have a litter available in the summer of 2021

We are new to silver fox rabbit this year. They are proving to be a great addition to the farm. They provide us with food for our freezer, fur for warm hats and mittens along with making great pets. We will be selling breeders in 2021. They are a great addition to any homestead.

At Apex Acres, we think it is important to eat home grown food. Our large organically grown garden does just that for us. We use all natural fertilizers and pest control measures to grow our produce. What we don’t consume, we sell at the local farmers market every Saturday from May thru October.
